デイヴィー・ハヴォック

デイヴィー・ハヴォック（David Paden Marchand、1975年11月25日 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国の歌手、俳優、ファッションデザイナー、小説家である。AFIのボーカル担当。

彼はストレート・エッジとヴィーガン主義の率直な支持者である。

略歴

ニューヨーク州ロチェスターでデイビッド・パデン・パッサロとして生まれた
ハヴォックが5歳の頃に父親が亡くなり、母親が後に再婚したとき、彼は継父の姓（マーチャンド）を引き受けた。彼の家族はロチェスターからカリフォルニア州ユカイアに引っ越した。そこで、カトリック学校に通った。
1993年にユカイア高校を卒業した。
高校卒業後、ハヴォックはカリフォルニア大学バークレー校に通い、英語と心理学の二重専攻を取得した。

音楽活動

AFI

ハヴォックの友人であるMark StopholeseとVic Chalkerは、楽器を所有または演奏していなかったにもかかわらず、高校生の時バンドを始めることに決めた。Stopholeseは、友人のAdam Carsonがドラムセットを所有していたため、ドラマーの役割を果たせるかもしれないと示唆した。これがAFIの始まりである。

高校卒業後、メンバーが大学を辞めるとバンドは解散した。Answer Thatに登場し、Fashionable and Very Proud of Yaに登場する歌詞を書き始めた。

1995年にバンドの最初のアルバム『Answer That and Stay Fashionable』をWingnut Recordsからリリースした。

Blaqk Audio

2007年8月14日、AFIのギタリストであるジェイド・ピュージェットと一緒にエレクトロニックサイドプロジェクト・Blaqk Audioを結成。

XTRMST

XTRMSTの付いたカリフォルニアのレコード店の周辺には、2014年の始めに、多数のカセットテープが登場した。ファンはすぐにバンドのボーカリストがハヴォックのように聴こえたことに気付き、彼がこのグループの歌手であるという噂が広まった。2014年3月17日、ジェイド・ピュージェットはTwitterを介して、XTRMSTが彼とハヴォックの新プロジェクトであることを明らかにした。

DREAM CAR

2016年、ハボックがノー・ダウトのトム・デュモント、トニー・カナル、エイドリアン・ヤングと一緒に結成バンドである。

Sang a cover of "Straight Edge Revenge" by Project X alongside the hardcore punk band Ceremony on November 6, 2008 in Berkeley California.
